Marine Engineering


Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture involves the design, construction, installation, operation and support of marine equipments which makes the ship safe and habitable during sailing. Marine engineering is a part of mechanical engineering. A marine engineer should have a hands-on knowledge in the field of hydraulics, pneumatics, controls, materials, design, fabrication, electrical and many more.
Marine engineers on board regularly conduct the maintenance of propulsion and other systems which require for safe operation of the ship and required for the habitability.
